Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we are unable to fix the problem in a relationship ourselves. This can be simply because we are too close to the problem to see it clearly.
Asking family and friends for help with our intimate relationships can be embarrassing and their wisdom is often biased because they are also in a relationship with us.
Seeing a professional can be a daunting prospect but the confidentiality, empathy, and lack of judgement offered within a session provides a safe and secure environment to discuss these private issues, enabling clients to see where things have gone wrong and supporting them as they work together to put it right.

Relationship or couples counselling differs from individual therapy in the respect that the main focus of the work is the relationship rather than the individual. While individual issues are discussed and supported towards change, it is the effect of these issues on the relationship that remains the key component of this work.
In those cases where staying together is not an option, clients often find that relationship counselling can be helpful in working towards a more amicable separation or divorce.
Couples therapy will enable you and your partner to work with me in order to facilitate change in your relationship. Sometimes, talking to someone (a therapist) with no connection to yourself or your partner is all it takes for you to gain perspective.

SEX THERAPY
£75 per session
Sex Therapy is a talking therapy that explores couples' and individuals' psychological and physical sexual issues.
An in-depth history of each client is taken separately at first so that I really understand the client before I put together a formulation and a treatment plan that is tailor made for each couple or individuals specific needs.
